Sustainable Development
ENACT has systematically incorporated environmental considerations into all operational activities, with a strategic focus on sustainable development. The company is officially registered in the Electronic Waste Registry (HMA) and maintains an active insurance policy with a minimum annual coverage of €100,000, explicitly covering civil liability towards third parties and environmental restoration in the event of a damaging incident, in accordance with Article 36(4) of Law 4042/2012, as amended by Article 85(1) of Law 4685/2020.
The company continuously invests in qualified personnel and state-of-the-art equipment for the management of non-hazardous solid waste, ensuring full compliance with current technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
Recognizing that environmental protection is a dynamic and evolving field, ENACT has certified its operations under an Environmental Management System (EMS) standard, enabling the implementation of advanced environmental protection protocols across all processes. The company has developed a robust internal audit framework to monitor key environmental parameters, ensuring continuous compliance with applicable legislation and alignment with recognized environmental standards.
ENACT strictly adheres to the European Union Directives, which have been fully transposed into Greek national law, and enforces standardized procedures for waste disposal. This ensures that all partners and subcontractors operate within certified environmental management systems, safeguarding environmental integrity and legal compliance throughout the value chain.
